With around 500 students enrolled, the school gets an overall seven out of 10 from GreatSchools, with some of its highest marks for student progress and test scores, which are above the state average

Burlington Christian Academy

Another highly rated private high school in Burlington, according to Niche.com, is Burlington Christian Academy. The school also takes kids from Pre-K through the 12th grade. The school receives an overall Niche grade of a “B+”, with its highest marks for academics. Around 600 students are enrolled at Burlington Christian, which also has a low student-teacher ratio.

The college prep school boasts it offers a progressive curriculum in core subjects, community service, and in character education. 

Walter Williams High School

As for public high schools in Burlington, Walter Williams High School gets an overall “B” from Niche.com. The high school serves kids from ninth through 12th grade. Walter Williams gets an admirable “A+” for its diversity and a “B+” for college prep. There are around 1,200 students enrolled in the high school.

Clover Garden School

The public charter school gets an overall seven out of 10 from GreatSchools, including an impressive nine out of 10 for the category of college readiness. The school also gets marks higher than the state average for its test scores. Children from kindergarten through 12th grade attend Clover Garden School.
